32 inch Sharp Aquos is less than a year old... I changed that channel and the picture was green or gray... i changed it again and got a normal picture once but now all channels are looking blank with a greenish color on the entire screen.

Contact Sharp to locate the nearest authorized Sharp servicer. Sharp Aquos servicers have to give Aquos TV top priority. Sharp provides very good and fast serice on these sets.

You don't want to keep doing that because you can make it go into a coma and not turn back on again. It may not work to perform a factory reset INIT (industry initialization) but call sharp aquos 877-322-7867 (87seeaquos) to get a case file created and be walked through an INIT including resetting the lamp errors. If the rep has you read the number of lamp errors and it is not zero then you should be scrolling down and resetting them to zero before changing screens to turn INIT on.
Sounds like you have bad capacitors somewhere in the TV. If none of them are bad, you could also have loose grounding screws on the inverter shield. It is common for this TV and simply retightning them will keep the backlight on again.
I'm not sure if this is the same, but people were green no matter how i adjusted the tint, and lacked overall color. I doubled checked the component cables, taking each one out, and putting it back firmly,
Picture is back to normal. Easy fix.
My 3 year old Sharp LC-40C32U would start up fine but within a minute would go dark (audio continued fine). For a while I could turn the set off and on again and it would be fine, but over time this became less effective. My solution, which has worked for a week now, was to a) unplug the set's power cord; b) after 3 minutes plug it back in and turn the set on; c) on the remote hit MENU and slide over to SETUP (3 clicks to the right if the screen is dark) and one up to RESET; d) hit ENTER and follow the prompts. This puts the set in it's factory configuration so you will have to rescan for channels. Worked for me.
Sharp Aquos is a bit like saying Ford Estate . Without the model advice is a bit bland There are know issues where the digital decoder can cause the main software to crash. Although its not a DIY fix the updated software and a reset is often the cure fir this kind of issue, If it is a software issue its the kind of thing we do over coffee break!
LCD LAG COMPENSATION CIRCUIT? never heard of that, dosent mean it dosent exist, you may have a LCD driver board issue, never seen the trails thing on Aquos, have had to update the software on many of these critters though.
