Type www.canon. com in your search bar with country you are in and it should direct you to your nearest canon online, there you will have a link to type in your driver need, in this case. the driver for BJC 700 inkjet printer, once downloaded save it toa cd rom in a case for later use

select your OS (windows xp, vista, 2000) and download the driver.
run the installer FIRst then plug in the printer when it tells you.

Go to Cannons' site and download what you need. Some older printers, and scanners do not work with later OSs.

Vista + cannon BJC 250 = error
Go to

and try the XP driver. If this doesn't work, you may not be able to interface this printer to Vista.

Where did you get the driver from? Try this and let me know what happens. Just pick your operating system and download this file: bjc4550win2k/xpv150.exe Put it in it's folder. If that's the one you got just tell me that but I'd like you to delete the one you have and try again. Let me know what happens.

Off Line Cannon Printer
Try the following start->settings->printers right click on cannon bjc 3000 and check for a tick mark on "use printer offiline". if the tick mark is there then click on the "use printer offiline", then try a test page. hope this helps
