I have a 2056. I open the little door with the red light and closely watch my top thread for when it stops catching a bobbin thread until it is used up. I stitch more slowly but at least not annoyed and not wasting thread. Dawn Illinois
I suggest checking to see how much a new pfaff costs and then see how much the part for your sewing machine cost and decide which price would be better for you...
is the power cord plugged in to the machine correctly is the machine plugged into the outlet it's also possible that the on & off switch has gone out you might consider having the machine checked at a sewing machine shop
