The picture on my TS-4573 rear projection tv has started to roll vertically at a fast rate. How can I make this stop. On old tv's there was a vertical hold adjustment on the back that you could play with...

this fault is caused by defective electrolytic capacitors in the vertical deflection circuits, they need to be changed out, do this before it causes more problems, there are no adjustments for this anymore.

Tv picture is jumping

Unfortunately, JVC service manuals are not usually available outside of Authorized service centers. That being said, anyone that services TVs should have seen similar symptoms on other sets and should be able to "fix" this one even without a schematic. Call around. In the meantime, I'll look into this a bit more.

Lightning strikes on screen and takes awhile to warm up then fine

sorry its not an easy fix at all. im sorry wat you have to hear, but do you have kids? if so, they probably bumped into or hit the screen. that would result in permantly damaging the screen

Rolling screen

This may be a vertical hold control problem I'm not sure where the Vert. Hold potentiometer is on the mainboard. I would see if you can find someone who can locate it and adjust it.
