The detegent doesn't completely leave the soap dish. the soap door works appropiately --- but the dishes do not come out clean. We have tried detergent pellet, liquid detegent and the basic cascade...

This model relies on the top spray arm to 'wash' the detergent out of the soap dispenser - and that is the problem. Your top spray arm will not be turning properly. Check the angled jet on the very tip of the arms for blockages with food or fruit pips etc - it's this angle only that makes the arms turn.
if blocked, clean out with a pin or wire, and running water - make sure you get every bit out. If not, buy a new spray arm. If the arm is split, you will need a new one.
Other problems may be low water level or a faulty circulation pump - BUT check the spray arms first.
Remember a dishwasher is NOT a garbage disposal unit, so scrape any food particles of plates etc before putting them in the machine. Run a dishwasher cleaner through with no load once in awhile.

Dishwasher is throwing food bits back on dishes during wash. How do I clean out dishwasher?

While loading into the machine always remove the food particles from the dishes. The wash machine will clean the sticky oil grease only.

Check the drain filter in the machine and clean. Refer user manual.

Why do my dishes no longer seem to get clean? The glasses are spotty and foggy, small bits of food left on the plates, etc. They not completely dirty as they were when I put in to wash, but they're...

The problem is hard water. There is a new product out called the dishwasher filtration system. It filters the water before it enters your dishwasher. It works amazing and has a money back guarantee. You will love the way your dishes look after the first load. It is also very affordable (like 70 bucks). Go to www.dishwasherfilter.com to find out more info.

IT is leaving food on the dishes

You do not have to prewash your dishes before loading them. In fact, by prewashing, you actually defeat the purpose of most dishwasher detergents. These detergents are activated by the grease and oils in food and work better. You should only scrape your plates of solid materials that are not recommended to go into a dishwasher (i.e., celery, popcorn kernels, tough chunks of meat, gristle, etc.).

If you are getting food particles on your dishes, this is known as "redeposition". Most commonly it is caused by food particles trapped in the filter of the main wash pump. You will need to remove the lower spray arm and access the filter screens and clean them of all debris.

If you need further assistance on how to disassemble your dishwasher to access the filter, please post back with your MODEL NUMBER. I hope this information is helpful to you.

Bosch dishwasher leaving food stains

You may be experiencing this problem due to the soap you use or too much soap. Run a cycle without soap but put a cup of white vinegar in the machine. Then just use Cascade dishwashing packets. If your filters are clean and the pump is working that should take care of your problem. Do NOT use the inexpensive soaps on the market and especially don't use more than what is recommended. This leaves a film on your dishes and will cause it not to clean or rinse well. (I don't have any connection to Cascade - I just know it works very well. Costco brand packets also work well.)

Dishwasher cycle goes on and on like for an hour and a half, I turn it off !!! Model WQP12-BFE

if the sump is clogged up with with debris or the macerater is broken or the heater is not operating , the dishwasher will not operate properly and operate for a long time. Best off to call a reputable service company such as Sears.

Food particles left on dishes

Many times this caused by food particles clogging the screen or blocking the jets on the spray arms. Find the screen in the bottom of your machine and clean it out. If this doesnt help, remove the spray arms and clean them out.

My Bosch Dishwasher doesn't clean

Check the following to address this issue--

1. No water
Make sure you get water to the dishwasher. Check to see if the water shut-off valve (located under the sink) is open. If you get water to the dishwasher, but there is still no water inside during the fill cycle, the problem might be with a faulty water valve (located at the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either side), in which case replace the water valve.

2. Not enough water
If there is not enough water, the dishes would not get cleaned. This could be caused by a partially closed water shut-off valve (located under the sink), or a faulty dishwasher water valve (located at the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either side).

3. Clogged spay arms
There is usually two, sometimes three spray arms in a dishwasher. Make sure there is no debris blocking the holes inside each spray arm.

4. Water temperature is too low
To get the best results, the water has to be at 120 degrees Fahrenheit when entering the dishwasher.

5. Not enough soap
If you only fill one part of the soap cup, try adding soap to both parts.

6. Smoky film on dishes and glasses
This problem occurs due to excessive calcium build up inside the dishwasher. Try cleaning you dishwasher using a dishwasher cleaner.
