Today when I turned on my phone (T-Mobile MDA) the clock that I have always on my top bar was no longer showing me the time as digits. It was of the circle variety, totally unseeable.
I can't find anything that would give me the option to see my time as digital, instead of this round unusable clock.

My daughter's MDA had the same problem. I just opened the phone and soldered the legs on the corners back to the board. You have to bend the pins on the back of the plug down to make contact with the board, before you solder. Place plug back down and line it up with contacts. If done right should work as normal. Hope that helps
this is a sw boot up screen. this is what the screen will look like with no sw on the device, so you guessed it....the download was unsuccessful and corrupted the firmware.....if you tried to reinstall the sw again, and it does not work, you might need a new phone....contact t-mobile to do that.....OR, you can try to do a master reset by pressing the sw keys.
to do that, turn off the phone, and press and hold the soft keys (buttons located beneath the touch screen that have the lines on them on top of the green call button and the red end call button).....while holding these down, press the power button for 3 seconds and release the power button.....all this time you are holding those soft keys down....the phone SHOULD turn on and go to a black screen with white writing.....at this time you can relase the two buttons......press the green button and reset. if this does not work.....my friend, you need another one......good luck!
plug in your charger to your phone, find something small to stick into the reseting hole, when your phone turns on, go into settings>power>advanced: un-click the "turn off device if not used for"
it may drain your battery faster, BUT it works!!! :D
I would call them at 1-800-t-mobile to make sure your service is set up correctly (if it isn't it may explain why it takes so long to locate the network) or you could use their customer care site at http://www.t-mobile.com/Contact.aspx to find a store that will replace/repair it for you.
