Procut 25 changing torch but need to add resistor for air switch on previous torch but don't know what the resistance value should be. The manual says at rest with no air pressure it should be 40-55 Ohms but I need to know the resitance value with it at operating pressure. an anyone help please......

What resistor value has an Samsung CLP-500 toner cardridge?

The value of the resistor in a Samsung CLP-500 toner cartridge is not publicly available and can vary based on the specific cartridge model. It is recommended to reach out to the manufacturer or an expert for further details.

I want to know Two resistor values for LG 21FU8RGE3AZ Ultra Slim CRT TV 1 Value of R312 Vertical section 2 EHT section supply Resistor Burnt and found open

What you can do since there aren't any schematics available, would be to measure the 1 half and write down the resistance and do the same with the other half and add them together. You should go up a little also, say if you are reading 1 k ohm, use a 1.2k ohm in it's place. The other way is to follow it upstream to see what the resistor is supporting. If it's an I.C. you could look up the I.C. number and go to website to see what resistor is required to support that I.C.

3 speed fan barely changes speed

You are talking about your blower fan for the air conditioner and heater right? More information will be needed to solve the problem.

When you say it barely changes speeds, does that mean it doesnt speed up, or doesnt slow down? By that I mean, is it "stuck" on low, or high?

Most blower fans run at different speeds through the use of a multi-stage resistor built into the fan switch circuit. Low speed is a high value resistor, medium speed is a low value one, and high speed is the fan running without any resistance.

If your fan is running on high and doesnt seem to want to run on lower speeds, the resistor pack may be failing. If the fan is running on low speed only, it may be that the fan itself is beginning to fail, or that the lubricant in it has gotten gummy.

My 1993 firebird was running fine after changing ignition switch and now it will not crank? told it was the vats key mod. need to know how to bypass it and where its located

Is there a pellet in the key. This type can be bypassed the pellet pushes to resistors outward to a given value from #1 to #14 if you can read key resistance then go to a electronics store a by a resistor that value now crawl under dash by gas pedal you will find a orange cord with two white wires in it place resistor across both wires and cut wires off leaving the ones going up steering column open. turn key on if security light is flashing wrong resistance value. try again. a haynes manual should have all resistance values but key code.

What is the actual value of burned resistor (R607) from power supply of TV KV 32S10

You're asking about the resistance value of the resistor, I assumes. Try to download the repair manual to this set by internet. It has all details. If you wish to get some details about the power supply section schematics to some models, check the site linked here.http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up previous posts, either by type in the Brand name to your set in its search box, or view it in Mosaic / Timeslide / Flipcard option.

I have a burnt resistor on a V55hd head. It is near one of the powertubes. Need to know how to calculate the value for replacement, and know if there is some sort of resistor type that will be more heat...

Usually the amplifier will have "symmetry" and there will be matching resistors near the other power tubes that you can get the value from. This is PROBABLY a screen resistor for the tube and values are often around 470 ohms or so but I could not find a schematic. These USUALLY don't fail unless a tube has shorted. Heat sinks are NOT used. The best resistors for the purpose are "wire wound" ones and of a suitable wattage rating. Sometimes we put ceramic beads on the leads to raise the resistors off the board to allow air circulation. Occasionally solder will break and the arcing at the leads adds to the heat. If you trace where the resistor goes by pin number of the tube and the type of the tube that would help me to help you... trace a matching tube to the same pin and you will likely find a matching resistor. Note that some power resistors DO change color a bit after they get hot in use, but if they char or the coating falls off that is a failure.

What is the value of the resistor that burns up when to much RF power is input?

Hi wrightjc2,
Most common burned resistor are those with low resistance because it acts like a fuse to avoid further damaged to some parts if shorts, overload happened. But still best to have a schematic diagram to identify the burned one. If you haven't a schematic you may get the resistance of the resistor, measure it to the middle where the burned cut out, add the resistance from one half side to other half side. You may now have an Idea what may be the value of the burned resistor.
Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!

My TP100 snare pad is very glitchy. Often when I hit it, it makes no sound at all, or it misses hits. I suspect something is wrong with the small sensitivity dial (not the big red dial), because the...

The dial could have a desoldered pin or oxydized slider contacts. Try to resolder the pins, but if that doesn't solve it then you would need to disassemble and clean the internal slide contacts on the dial which can be a bit difficult, so the alternative is to replace the dial if you can find a spare one.

To bypass the dial (with fixed resistances) you need to know the resistance at each side of the dial when it is in the position that suits your needs (connect the snare to a working input, set the sensitivity as needed, mark the position of the dial).

The resistance can be measured with an ohm meter.
To be sure that the measuring will be accurate, it is ok to remove the dial from the circuit board (adjacent components may affect the measured value).
You should do the measuring on a dial that is good.

After you've removed the dial, set it to the position that you marked previously.

Measure the resistance between left and middle pin of the dial - this will be the value of the fixed resistor which you need to connect to the left and middle hole on the circuit board.
Now measure the resistance between middle and right pin on the dial - this will be the value of the fixed resistor which will be connected to the middle and right hole on the circuit board.

Now you need to get resistors which have the values that you've measured and solder them in place of a bad dial.

It is likely that the measured value will differ from the standard fixed resistor values. To achieve the exact measured value, you can connect two or more fixed resistors in series, just make sure that the added value of the fixed resistors for each side is the same as the measured value on each side of the dial.

Now you need to solder the fixed resistors to the circuit board and the modification is complete.

If you actually decide to do this modification and you're unsure about anything, just post me some feedback, i'll be glad to help.

Anyway, hopefully it is just a desoldered pin that you need to reflux.

Too Bright P1130

Dell P1130 Service Manual r + g + b resistors measure on them and chassis -ground by have a black picture for getting the highest voltages if its looks like out of range look the manual and the resistors on there values that the ones and values you write about can be made of the only few carbon composite resistors witch can have get some drift over time over the tolerance. this kind of dark brown resistors are very sensitive for moisture and more, best is to soldering one leg of the resistor out and measure for compare on every resistor its resist or disconnect the crt print from the tube and if the resistors are good then reduce on the potential meter on the line transformer some reduce brightness below if its so bright that its against the backlashes. control focusing also after that . i have only suggest by this chassis its a 25 years ago i was very busy with c r t t v and video and more a little study on the manual can give you other results for some deformed capacitors also why its come out of range begin with the power supply and don,t forget to disconnect before measuring the power supply the horizontal line load to the line transistor (fly back because of your multi meter and have a 100 w lamp in serial in mains to control for your power supply on .
