dont worry its no problen sony did not encode the higher versions it should say no network found but but it is the same thing so dont worry

Check your PSP firmware revision, apparently some firmware revisions from 3.60 - 3.73 can cause this issue. Most people that experienced it reported that updating to firmware revision 3.8 resolved the issue completely. 3.9 is available now and should work as well. Download and instructions here:

I Have a problem with my wi-fi for my ds. My wi-fi has worked before. When i load it On the computer I ut my wifi thing in and it keeps on loading and then when it gets to "Setting up Internet Conncetion Sharing" It stops and says Please Insert the wifi thingy into your computers USB port.. And it is already in!! And When i put it in the computer the Green light on it does not flash... So email me on " [email protected] " If you have any ideas on how to fix it... please help!!!!

I'd love to tell ya that there is an easy solution, but there is not. The error code simply states that the WiFi card is not working; you probably already figured that out! There are three possibilities: The WiFi card itself (most common), a resistor on the main motherboard (manufacturing issue, warranty), or the switch has gone bad (in which case you might be able to "short it out", but search on opening the PSP and you will see that this is straightforward for the very patient). The most expedient route is to (a) send to service or (b) get another PSP and test the WiFi before you leave the store. (And sell the faulty unit on eBay ??)
