I have the same oven and the problem is probably the control panel not the circuit breaker. I'm having the panel replaced next week for the 3rd time in 8 years but, you can find it on the web at repairclinic.com for about $140. they also provide troubleshooting help and installation help. I've spoken with GE many times trying to convince them that my oven may have an assembly related problem but they don't want to hear about it. Just replace the part and avoid all the aggravation I've endured trying to get GE to take care of it.
Good luck

There is usually a micro switch that is activated when the lock lever is in place - very likely this switch is still activated or has failed closed (defective) .

a number of solutions for your problem a little smaller better then a little larger, iv seen depending on surrounding cabinetry, either wood fill strips, lexan(plastic) strip added as a filler. depending on what the installation guide recommends for opening , that is all that would be required what you fill if with will be a purely asthetic choice

Try unplugging power cord or trip circuit breaker, to cut the power to the appliance, then wait one or towo hours for the oven to cool down completely.
If the door stays locked, then there is a fault, probably a faulty temp probe that had blown because of high temperatures generated on self cleaning, or a defective control assembly. In that case you will need to call a technician to take apart the oven and fix the fault.
