Palm Lifedirve will not synch. Since it has not yet performed an initial synch I cannot use wireless or network to get around the usb driver problem

Initial Installation:

The OS would be the only problem. You would have to make sure the computer had USB 2.0 ports and that the OEM of the network adapter has a driver for Windows 98.

Without the driver it won't work at all, without the USB 2.0 ports it might work but it won't perform nearly as well as it could.

I have concluded that the USB synch cable is not the correct one for my Palm Z22 PDA. There is only one point of attachment on the PDA and it is different from the plug on the USB synch chord. This was the last Palm Z22 PDA in the store so I think that the store clerk rounded up leftover parts and components of previous PDA kits and tried to make a complete set out of it. I am going to return the PDA to the store (Staples) in the next day or two.
