Brewing system plastic part broken

We bought the Dacor cm24t coffee maker over a year ago and now it does not want to eject the coffee waste so it needs a new brewing system. Only problem is that the repair shop tells me the part costs $1400! We contacted Dacor and a lady said she might be able to help us. Now, we cant find the lady. We feel ripped off.

I have miele CVA 4070 It just recently started only brewing about 1/2 to 2/3 cup of coffee or espresso and the rest of it goes into the waste container. So the waste container has a watery puck and...

Have you clean the brew unit with the cleaning tablets? This dissolves and rids the brew unit of the oils which in turn build up and clog the brew unit - the result being watery pucks and less product being disbursed.

I have a Dacor CM24T coffee maker. The on/off switch does not turn on the machine. What's wrong? It has been working for 1.5 years.

try to disconnect the switch and connect or splice the wire directly then plug on the unit if the machines runs it means only the switch damage replace it a new one. or after replacing the swicth the trouble is persist you call a technician.

The coffee maker says it is self plumbed. Does this mean we never have to fill it with water and it should be plumbed for water?

if there is a water line attatched to your unit then you dont have to add water . there should be a spicket to shut off the water at the source. if you turn it on and it makes coffee then there it is,clowny daggers

Mr coffee beeps 3 times and thats all, no brew

3 beeps means plugged water line. Take off the bottom of the coffee maker with a small phillips head screwdriver. Use pliers (I used needle nose type) to remove the wire clamps holding on the silicone water tubes to the hot plate. In my case, the water line from the reservoir to the plate was clogged with something I couldn't see until I blew on the hose and it popped out, could have been scale, grounds etc Clean with vinegar. Back in service!

Coffee tastes like plastic!

We have had our DCC-1200 for 3 months. The plastic taste occurs about every 3rd pot, and it does NOT get better. We've wasted over a pound of coffee. Cuisinart says we are the only people in the world with the problem. Well, I guess not...

Bloomfield 3-pot coffee maker won't brew

These macines have an internal water heater that should be clened periodicly (monthly per manufacturers instructions but I do it quarterly/semianually/when it gets noisy :) ). The machine will have to be disasembled to do this since the tank will have to be flushed when you do this to get the chemicals out of it (vs running a pot of vinegar through your Mr. Coffee machine at home), Depending on how much scale has built up in the tank this could take several cleaninings. Scale deposits can over time impair/damage the heater or thermostat but replacement parts are cheaper than a new machine and the machine will outlast and outperform a standard coffee maker. BTW, my 8572 3 burner was built in 1972, I bought it at a flee market for $25 10 years ago put $100 in parts to get the push to brew and hot water on tap working again and it made two great pots of coffee this morning.

Dacor CM24P will not dump coffee?

I have the same problem and a technician came in to look at it today. I need a press assembly unit (I think it runs about $600). He said it could simply be caused by using "sticky" coffee beans. He ran the machine, holding the door closed button with his hand so we could see the machine run it got stuck every time like it was moving through tar- even after cleaning. I'm looking at about $300 of labor and a $600 part. We ought to file class action suit against Dacor. My machine has never worked properly.
