Hi there,
A lot of the new Printer/Multifunctional/Fax Machines nowadays come out with only demo Toner/Cartridges which are not completely full so there average yield is very low. The average yield for your Toner Cartridges should be around 2500 Pages but this is a measurement when you basically print in draft and with toner saving on. The moment you start using colours more intensely the yield will drop drastically.
Regards,
there are two ways to solve it, first you could check on the connection. low connectivity may result to in ym disconnection. second will be uninstalling the ym in your pc and reinstall it back
Canon sucks. That is the answer. They want to make money off of you and want you to buy toner all the time even if you don't need it. It is called planned obsolescence and it is disgusting. They also make life difficult for aftermarket cartridges too. They don't make a lot of money on the printer itself so they make up for it by trapping you in a never ending cycle of buying toner!
