Installing a sony xplod in to my girlfriends fiat punto

I brought my girlfriend the CD player for xmas and i installed it in to her old fiat punto S reg. then last week she brought a new fiat punto an 2004 reg and i tried to install it to that and for sum reason it doesnt work. it has a red light flashing on it but just wont switch on now shes goin mad cus she cant listern to any music cus i sold her stereo on ebay lol. please help me email me at [email protected]

If I were in your shoes I would hardwire it, Run the red wire directly to fuse box or battery, run yellow wire to switched circuit in fuse panel, and isolate the black ground wire somewhere inside the dash, I'm in America and have not wrenched on any FIAT's, but in my expirence some manufactures doe things proprietary, give this a shot.

You have to invest in separate cables to the booster amplifier. Be careful that you have the proper relays and fuse for these or you might end up losing your car because of fire.

Fitting a sony cd player to punto

your problem is an accessory (red) wire, it needs to be hooked up to a 12 volt alternating current, something that turns on and off with the key, the yellow wire on the other hand needs to be hooked up to something that has constant 12v power.

Pioneer DEH-P80MP doesn't work in my new car

remember ,your new car is ITALIAN ,while PIONEER is a JAPANESE brand . ITALY is WEST while JAPAN is east and these two directions do not meet easily .
THERE IS AN INTERCONNECTOR ADAPTOR SOLD SEPERATELY WHICH WILL MAKE THESE TWO COMPATIBLE.
Fixing these two together will make your job easier and comfortable .
