Wonky colour printing!!

Just put a new colour cartridge in my 5550 and the colour is not printing anything like true. Seems to be a fault with the magenta colour not picking up properly. Also, when printing black text the black is not true either but more of a browny colour! Ran the Tap 4 test and the error code shows as 90020703 (carriage blocked???). No lights are flashing and I've tried 2 different new cartridges now with exactly the same result. Helpppp please!!!!!!

You need to run a print alignment test.. this should correct the colour faults (unless you really do have blocked cartridges,

try cleaning the contacts on the cartridge (sometimes they are sticky) also try cleaning the contacts for the magenta cart on the printer too, hopefully this will help

if it printed fine before may just be that you got a dud cartridge.. you can take it back to where you got it or send it back direct to the manufacturer (try shop first) They should replace it without too much of an argument.

HP5550 printer is printing everything in green. We have true HP cartridges

So, your "blue" and "yellow" ink-cartridges are OK, and are mixing to produce "green".

But, either your "red" ink-cartridge is empty, or the ink-jets that shoot that colour onto the paper are BLOCKED.

Run a print-head-cleaning-cycle, using the HP Support Tools that were installed from the HP CD-ROM, and then, if necessary, replace/refill the "red" cartridge.

Hi there, need your kind help. My Hp laserjet 5550 has a missing colour problem. Cyan is missing in the print out, giving rise to to blue and green colours being absent in print-outs. Scanner is confirmed...

Cyan cartridge is OK, means that the display shows the level of toner in the cartridge, right? Then chip it is ok.
Try another cyan toner, the printer may be that it has broken the opening flap of the laser. Or check if the laser's flap cyan is blocked.

Hp 5550 deskjet not printing

This is typical cartridge problem.Which cartridge changed? This printer can print with the only one cartridge inside it, whatever which.Try this: Open cover put out color cartridge then close cover. If blinking stops replace color cartridge. If blinking continues put out black cartridge and put in color. If blinking stops replace black cartridge, if not stop replace both cartridges.
If this not help your printer has problem in carriage unit and need repair.

The printer will not work. The green bottom

The Print Cartridge Status light flashes when one or both of the print cartridges is improperly installed or malfunctioning.

1. Open the printer's top cover.
2. Remove and re insert both the black and colour print cartridges and try printing again.

If the problem persists then you need to replace either the black or the colour print cartridge.

Printer will not print black ink

Seems to be a common fault with Kodak EasyShare 5100/5300

Contact Kodak Support and go though the following tests:

Remove and re-seat Printer Cartridge(s) - Done

Clean Printhead - Done

Calibrate Printer - Test Sheet Not Complete!

Run Computer Colour Test - Done

They will then send you a new Print Head.

Canon Pixma IP4300 - cartridge recognition preventing any printing happening.

I seem to be having a similar problem with my cannon pixma 4300 as certain others, i have just recently replaced all the inks with " original" cannon inks and all of a sudden it refuses to print anything, it says that one of the inks is not working, ( Yellow) I remove it, replace it again and the light comes on but when the slide retracts the light seems to go off. any ideas would be great, this seems to be a fault i have read a few times.
