Are you pertaining to the product key number of the MS Office software in your sony vaio or do you need the product serial number of the computer itself?

If what you need is the product key number of the MS Office to activate the software, the location depends on how you acquired the product.
1. purchased from a retail store (disc) - the product key in located inside the package, left side opposite to the CD holder.
2. if the MS Office is already installed in the computer the manufacturer should have included the media and/or MS Product Identifier card in the package where your product key is located.
3. if you purchased and downloaded it online, you will either receive the product key through an email that will be sent to you or it will be shown in the confirmation page when you downloaded the software.
4. if you purchased an office product key card, the product key is on a label inside the package. If there is no product key, please read the instructions inside. You might need to get your product key from Office.com/getkey
