I have a moultrie cam viewer. It views pics off sd cards for my moultrie game cams. (I have 2 cams both with 16g sd cards in them m-80 xt, m-80 blk) it has worked fine for about 7 months. But now it just shows a black screen when I insert the cards from my cams. It tells me how many pictures are on the card but just goes black when I try to view them.

Try the cards in another camera. If you get good images to show, then the problem is in the cameras. If not, then the problem is in the reader. See whether some dirt is in the slot interfering with the contacts.

Camera shuts down after 1-2mins an does not take pics

Just to let you I had Moultire m-80 when I used a pny sd card it ruined my camera. They were kind enough to replace it for me. I just use what they recommended do not have any more problems. I only delete pic on my computer and not digital camera. Try doing a hard reset take everything out turn to the on position for about 2-3 minutes after 3 min put brand new battery's in it while on the on position should say no card at this time. If doesn't turn camera off put sandisk sdhc card in it. Test camera again if still not working Moultire will help you I have talked them great customer service.

IR Flash not working

Have you tried a hard reset? If not turn camera off and take out sd card. With everything out turn it to the on position for about 2-3 minutes. Then put battery's back while on the on position it should say no card once it says that turn off camera. Put Sandisk sdhc card not micro SD card then turn it on test camera in the dark and view them on a windows or a Moultire viewer 4.3.

Moultrie game camera

SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

We can't find the disc to download the Moultrie GameSpy i40 camera to view the pictures in the camera

use a usb/mini usb adapter cable...one comes with new Moultrie i-40/i-60 cams, or get one for Blacberry or Sony cellphones...same fit...older d-40 cams use different size.Plug cable between pc and cam;go to"My Computer"...should show a HDD identified as Moultrie. Doulbe click...enjoy pics; no software needed.

Camera won't record on SD card

SD cards have become the industry standard....but beware...there are SD cards NOT backward compatible...i.e.,some cams won't take 2GB or larger; then there is SDHC; SDHC(HD); RUNS FROM 512G thru 32GB HC/HD; ECT...check your cams manual for SD card compatibility.

Stops taking pictures after approx. 128-130

Hi, Sue,
Not really sure on this, but if where he bought cam will take it back, try it...
However, it may not be the cam, but different resolution settings on the two different cams. Digital cams by different manufacturers format SD cards using different means; some allow more memory space on card for formatting than others..and if the game cam is set at a higher resolution than the other cam, then the 2nd cam might use space 1st cam left avail.i.e., say cam "sets aside 4mb of memory to format card, but only uses 2mb of this space. Now, the game cam is set for high resolution and take 130 pics @ 15mb each..15x130=1950mb,+ 2mb left by game cam=1952mb(1.952gb), or about 50mb of space left on card...put it into cam set for lower res. and might get several more pics before card was really full...be sure all is equal...both cams, and card, ect. 128-130 pics @ high resolution ain't bad....on a 4gb SDHC card with my I-40's set for High Res., I can get 1000 pics;@ enhanced and I get only about 300. Set at low res., and # goes way up.Hope you understand all this.
