SOURCE: Fisher & Paykel GWL11 Top-Load Washer troubleshooting

I've had my washer for about 8 years. I experienced the same problem - pump stopped draining the machine. I called F&P and "Patrick" told me that I need to 1) unplug the machine, 2) tilt up the front of the machine, 3) spin the pump (plastic blades) until they turn freely (usually counter clockwise) but I turn it both ways till it turns freely, 4) plug the machine back in and press the buttons to get it back where it was - this has worked every time to get the machine going again. I do a lot of "dog laundry" and I'm sure the rugs/dog hair cause the problem. Hope this helps!

SOURCE: what is error code 136 on a fisher & paykel IW...

136 fault is 'motor stall'...Quite often this is a broken wire to the motor. However it could also be a Motor fault, or Rotary Position Sensor problem. Water damage can cause this fault as well. After a visual check for broken wires or water damage, and if your machine is in good condition, you should consider a tech....Good luck...Nomess

Fisher & Paykal MW512 turns on multiple beeps then turns off

This kind of problem is usually related to a faulty display module, or faulty motor control module (Computer isnide of control panel compartment)

Without spares to change and test with, you wont be able to diagnose 100%

Usually when there is a problem, a series of lights go solid on the control panel and the machine beeps to alert you to a problem and this is a fault code, but if nothing is showing at all, then I have to lean towards the display module underneath the touchpad. Especially considering it wont illuminate.

My Fisher and Paykel IW810AU has stopped mid wash full of water and just beeps constantly and flashes message I need Service Fault 105. Have turned it on and off at the wall with no change. Please help.

Hi, the faults 105 is reported when the Display Module detects an error in the communications between the Display Module and the Motor Control Module.

The primary source of the problem is the Pump and you have to measure resistance of pump. If resistance is less than 33 ohms, replace pump.
