SOURCE: "FC" display

It has detected the door lock motor didn't respond. Check wiring to the motor. If wiring is ok then replace the door lock motor.

How to unlock the door when not cleaning by itself

Thank you for your post, wilma jones!

I understand that the door on your Frigidaire range is not unlocking. I see that you have attempted several troubleshooting steps and the door is still locked. From what you have described it sounds like a possible faulty door switch or wiring harness. I would recommend having a professional technician out to properly diagnosis your range this will help to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Best of luck! -Matt

F90 code flashing and i cant reset it

F90 Maximum oven door unlock time exceeded.
F91 Maximum oven door unlock attempts exceeded.
F92 Maximum oven door open time exceeded.
F93 Maximum oven door lock time exceeded.
F94 Maximum oven door lock attempts exceeded.

1. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Check the wiring between EOC & Lock Motor Micro Switch.

2. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Replace the Motor Door Latch assembly if necessary.

3. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Check for binding of the Latch Cam, Lock Motor Rod & Lock Motor Cam.

4. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Check to see if Lock Motor Coil is open. If open, replace Lock Motor Assembly.

5. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Lock Motor continuously runs - if Micro Switch is open, replace Lock Motor Assembly.

6. (F92, 93 & 94) Check oven door Light Switch - if open, replace Switch.

7. If all situations above do not solve problem, replace EOC.

F90 is a door lock code, Try this...
unplug the range.
wait 1 minute.
turn the range back on,
then while holding in on the oven door.
start another self clean.
wait 2 minutes.
then cancel the self clean.

do not release the door until the door lock light goes out.

Frigidaire Oven - lights are on but no heat from oven or burners

You must check your incoming power for 220 volts. You have lost one leg of your power. Either a bad breaker or bad wall outlet or bad range cord.

Stove flashed F11 and then locked the oven door

HI, this is control failure. the logic chip set is damaged. this is causing these erratic commands and the unauthorized locking of the oven door. you will need ot replace the control in this case.(EOC/clock)

Personal opinion. Do not mess with settings on a gas stove. Call a gas oven repair tech and have them come out and fix it. That way if it happens again you have someone to call

Oven door locks and un locks code F90

The F90 fault indicates that the maximum time allowed for oven door unlock was exceeded. The control attempted to unlock the door. The door lock motor or mechanism failed to unlock the door within the maximum amount of time it is allowed to be energized by the control board.

It is unlikely that you will be able to reset this fault code. You can try to completely disconnect electrical power and leave it off for 5 minutes. After reconnecting power, the fault code will probably reappear since the control will still detect that the oven door is locked. The only way to clear the fault code is to disassemble the range and repair or reset the oven door lock assembly. You will need a service technician to complete this repair.

Oven does not work

According to the manual, the self cleaning latch could be stuck.

If the oven door is open, press STOP/CLEAR to clear display, then depress and hold switch plunger for 6 seconds (Located in the upper right corner of the oven front) and the oven door will unlock.

If the oven door is locked, press STOP/CLEAR to clear the display then apply pressure to the upper right corner of the oven door and the door will unlock. If the "F" code reappears, contact a Sears trained repair specialist.

F9 code

I hit the same F9 problem when trying to self-clean, except that the door was locked OPEN.

After much trial and error, I found the following fix: 1. Switch circuit breaker off. 2. Switch circuit breaker on. 3. Press Bake button. 4 Press the small/inside button which indicates that the oven door is closed.

The lock mechanism opened and the oven now works fine.
