Control panel it will not allow me to change cycles

can not change cycles unless I hold another option down while pressing the start button... check lint screen stays lit all the time. Dryer ~1 year old

8. Keylock This function allows to block unwanted changes of the set options on the bezel , during drying phase. Activation/Inactivation: Push 4 and 5 buttons simultaneously for two seconds . The sign "LOC" appears on the display. Unlocking the option, on the display appears the sign "Unl", only once. In case of opening of 'porthole' with activated key lock, the cycle stops but the lock is kept: to restart the cycle, you must remove the lock and restore Start. When the dryer is off, the option is automatically inactivated. Key lock can be modified at any time of the cycle.

Stuck in one wash cycle. When you turn on the control panel it immeately starts washing in that same cycle. turning the knob does nothing. Stopping or pausing still won't let you change the cycle

1 Open and close the door

If you need to restart your dishwasher or forgot some dishes and want to open it during a cycle and restart it

1 Press the "Cancel Drain" button on the display. Allow about 2 minutes for the dishwasher to completely drain.

2 Choose a cycle under "Cycles" on the panel.

3 Select an option or options under "Options" on the panel.

4 Push the "Start Resume" button.

Whirlpool RS385PXBQ0 slide in range/oven won't work after self-cleaning cycle.

Check the wiring on the door lock. If that looks good you need to replace the door lock but that part is no longer available.

Samsung washing machine F1245 control panel stuck??

I have Samsung/korea-SW905Washer.When power is switched on the Fault-'1E' appears. what could be the reason.( narrate list of control component failure).
Bought in the year 1996 at India ( voltas mega washer top loading-7.5kg) and working till last month.
after few wash cycles the machine stopped at aforesaid indication and it is not functioning due to above fault indication'1E'
provide me remedial measures or electronic control board circuit.

Dishwasher does not start

I have the same problem. I've tried everything;even took apart the control panel and checked for corosion. I ended up changing the control board-$130 down the drain- The only other thing I can figure is the button panel has some sort of short- also ~$130-. good luck. Now I use the sink (wife's not happy) Tech sheet is behind kick plate.

I had a very similar problem with my Oasis He Washer 110.27087603. The machine was randomly cycling through different water temperature indication lights. It would repeatedly beep and not allow a wash cycle to complete. Fixya.com alerted me to the "upgrade" to the electronic control W10112112 to W10189966. My machine was scheduled service and a Sears tech replaced that board. My problem with random cycling continued and the tech stated the touch panel electronics; part # 8564392 would fix the problem. He said one of the microswitches on the panel was probably stuck and not allowing the machine to enter a wash cycle. I found the 8564392 panel at http://www.prosupplyco.com/search.aspx?find=8564392 for a very reasonable price. Realize that Whirlpool parts are Whirlpool parts and Sears doesn't hold the only key to them.

Can not change Cycle setting

I wonder if it's the control board that needs replacing ??? found a note on www.managemyhome.com saying...(part no 134207700 according to my parts list). Is there anything unique/special in replacing the control board... here are the instructions for it...if you try this, pelase let me know...

Replacing the control board is just a matter of removing wires from the old control board and installing them on the new one. It is an electronic board and can be damaged by static electricity so you have to touch some ground points with you hands before touching the control board.
To access the control board remove the top panel from the washer. There are 2 screws in the rear of the washer holding the top on.
With the top removed you will see three screws going down from the top holding the control panel to the cabinet of the washer; remove them.
Lift the control panel up and it will come loose. The control is mounted to the control panel with some screws.
