My Daughter dropped her iTouch and broke the glass lens. I found one on E Bay and followed the instructions to remove the old glass and digitizer and installed the new ones. I didn't have any problems and was very careful to be sure and get all connectors connected properly. After finishing the lower half of the Touch screen does not respond when touched or tapped.I opened it back up and could not find any problems. I have Reset it and Restored it and it is still not responding on the lower half. Sent a messege to the seller to see if he had any solutions and haven't heard back. Can anybody HELP me to save me daughters iTouch, she can't live with out it, HA! Thanks, Doug
Hey doug,
this condition is seen mostly in when the part is bad.
I would go back in the iPod and make sure your connections are all plugged in properly. Make sure the Digitizer is plugged in secure, by unplugging it and resetting it in the plug.
Did you replace the glass and digitizer with a new part????
I would continue to contact the seller and arrange for a return.
It sounds like you digitizer could be bad.

Thanks I tried all that and of course the supplier of the Glass and Digitizer was quick to brush me off, FOR Now!
I'll keep trying though.
Thanks again, Doug
