Water dispenser dispenses particles into the water. Drained about 7 pitchers of water. Particles are smaller but still coming. Restaurant water looks better than this. What's happening and what can I do? Changed filter. Did not fix the problem.

First; turn the water of to the machine next, remove the water line in front of the filter using a large bowl place the loose hose into the bowl and turn the water on for a minute turn the water off and, check the bowl for particles then reattach the filter and do the same thing on the other side of the refrigerator if this water is clean the interior refrigerator filter must be checked usually it is the carbon filter inside the refrigerator that is bad you can find the drawings location and, procedure for this part at: searsparts.com

Smeg dose not takein water

Is the dispenser door opening.....f not the the dispenser is faulty
It the dispenser is opening but the product dose remain plugged in the cavity, the top wash arm may not be turning.
Clean out all of the particles blocking the top spray arm holes and spin the arm to ensure ti turns freely.
Also check that there aren't any items placed it the top rack that could stop the arm from rotating freely.
Product not coming out of the dispenser id usually always due to the top spray arm . if it is blocked with particles you may not have been cleaning the filter in the sump properly and 'bits' of food ate passing th filter, Make sure the filter in the sump is well firmly in place.
The last important point is to always run the machine at 60 degrees or more You need temperature to do the job properly.

THE DISHES ON THE TOP RACK HAVE JUNK IN THEM DRIED ON FROM THE DISHWASHER. HOW DO I FIX THIS PROBLEM?

Make sure that the vertical tube which dispenses the water is not clog. If water can not go up the tube the top rack will not get washed properly. Sometime food particles fall into the spray ports and clog the water from coming out. Tip, try to remove as much solid food particles as possible prior to washing the dishes. Good Luck

We changed the filter to the water dispenser but

run about 2 gallons of water through the filter, if it did not help - the stuff is coming out the tubing between the filter and the dispenser. Check water hardness. If you have water softener, make sure it works properly.

Water dispenser is not working

Does it make ice? If it makes Ice, then you have water to unit. If No Ice and No Water, check water supply. Otherwise, you could have a bad water valve. Remove valve and the line coming off of valve to water reservoir try to dispense water and if valve is good you should have water coming from valve. (have a bucket or bowl handy to catch water).

Particles in ice cubes

Most new water/ice systems have break-in procedures in the manual, including flush a couple gallons of water through the water dispenser and disposing the first 24hrs of ice.

Are the particles present in the filtered water before adding ice? If so, you can probably assume the contamination is from the water tank so you should flush several gallons of water through the system to get rid. If the particles are present after adding ice, try pulling out the ice bin and dumping the ice.

Small Particles Sand & White color particles from dispersion screen group head & in water

I had this happen about 6 months ago. It was the heating element. I had to have it replace - about $225. Ugh. But it works great now. Good luck. If you have an espresso repair shop you can take it to, they can hook it up to an electrical tester and let you know if it the element.
