I have a Frigidaire washer model FTF530FS3 front loader , my dryer has bit the dust and I am trying to find out if the new Frigidaire dryer that is just slightly deeper, only 1/2" deeper will stack on my existing washer. I have called Frigidaire directly and they basically searched as I have searched and just told me that no you cannot stack them as the newer model is bigger.(only 1/2 " deeper and 1/4" wider. Does anyone know if there is some other way to do this?

get a stacking kit from your local appliance strore that sells frigidaire. they ARE EASY TO STACK WITH THE KIT.

there still models out there from sears that go on the same way as the old one trust me i know 4 a fact

check to make sure all hoses are not clogged - our washer hose before the pump was clogged due to washing a rug that had deteriorating rubber backing - would not drain until I flushed out the hose that goes from the tub t the pump.

You are supposed to remove the top of the washer, and the dryer feet lock into brackets...but being lazy I just bolted the dryer to the washer using some metal straps (1/16" x 8 x 4 ") with some machine screws, and it's been fine for years. Not pretty, but I had the same question and no handy internet to help me at the time ;P
