Most units are fitted behnd the glove box a couple of screws in it & under it, and the whole thing will come out.

if it has an adjustable sensor then there could be a small hole with a - + a small screw driver turns it up or down, it could well be one that needs programing via software inother words there is a set up sequence which puts the alarm in programing mode...

It depends on the manufacturer. (WHAT ALARM IS IT?)

Skytec astra alarm system keeps losing power

The batteries take a lot of power to send and receive data so you should get around 3 to 4 weeks per battery. If this is what you get it is normal.

Ford Windstar has anti theft alarm & if van is hit it is suppose to go off but it did not go off when car was hit and back hatch was caved in.Can it be fixed.

Hello, The Factory Alarm installed in your van does not do this. If you have an Aftermarket Alarm it has to have a Vibration sensor to perform like you imagine and want. There is no Impact sensor for the Alarm from the Factory.

The Impact sensor your van does have from the Factory is for cutting off the fuel pump in case of a crash. It is a silent switch and has a frequency that needs to be reached before working.

You can have an Aftermarket alarm installed to make a noise if your van is hit or rocked. The damage on your hatch can be fixed and it depends on the type of damage it sustained to know what is needed to make it right.

I hope you find mt solution very helpful.

Alarm keeps going off. what is the problem which fuse can i remove?

it is most likely going off because the sensor that sets the alarm off when someone bangs it or breaks the window is set to sensitive. Locate the adjustment under the hood near the firewall usually on the alarm module and turn it down.

Annoying alarm dinging until van reaches 17mph

This means one of the door ajar sensors is stuck. You need to remove the door trim panel and then the latch and then the sensor. Once out clean and lube it. There is a sensor inside every door.

My 1994 caravan drives about 200 feet then starts slipping. If I turn the ignition off and back on it will go another 200 feet.friends told me it is some sort of sensor .does any know whats going on .thanks

Please define the word "slipping" for me. To me it means the transmission is "slipping", the van is going down the road, and then the engine RPM's are still there, but the van keeps slowing down ? You try to put on more acceleration, but the engine revs up higher, but you go nowhere ?
Please let me know.

Chrysler sebring 1999

Sounds like you fried something when you jumped it. Make sure all the cables and wires are good and not burnt. Check fuses, and replace as necessary.
