replace batteries , and clean contacts batteries very well. However if toruchscreen not work, you must open the r.control and clean the keyspads very well from oxide,etc use contacts cleaner and fix it. Try again. If the problem persist, you have a Syscom faulty. God bless you
Take the battery out,dries the device out completely with a low heat of hair dryer.Put the device out in the sun a couple of days.The device should be working again,if the device still dead.Not repairable the device CPU chips are dead,garbage now sorry.

I tried the 2 solutions i was given but it still didn't fix the problem, I ended up calling logitech tech support and they advised me to install the software and download new programs for the remote, after about 1/2 hour and recalibrating the complete software/ firmware the problem was fixed.
