You may have a faulty battery/phone. This seems to be a common problem with this type of phone. If you can take it and have them check it for SAFETY CONCERNS That would be ideal, as they can reset it for you.
Caution! This WILL erase everything on the phone. You will have to confirm you want to do this before it will complete. (This is why you backup your phone. You may wish to remove the SD card FIRST.)
1. Ensure the device is powered off.
2. Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds then release.
3. With the LED illuminated red, press and hold the Power button+Volume down key+Camera key simultaneuously then release.
The LED illuminates approximately 20-30 seconds after releasing the power button (step 2). The 3-key combination must be pressed within the 1-2 second timeframe that the LED is illuminated.
4. Press the Power button to confirm and continue.
5. Again, press the Power button to confirm and continue.
( Allow several minutes for the factory data reset and reboot processes to complete.)

Why would the touch screen freeze?

Yes, you can reboot the phone. Remove the battery for 1 minute and restart phone. My phone does the same issue. It is clashing with one of the APP's that I have downloaded. There are two options. You can remove app's one at a time until you find or you can factory reset your phone

Dell inspiron 1525 laptop screen goes dark @3minutes after turning on and then when I shut the lid and reopen lid the screen turns back on for 15sec then turns back off...repeat steps and you see my...

Sounds like a loose connection or bad capacitor. If it's a loose connection then after the initial three minutes of warming up the connection separates that's why you only get a picture for 15 seconds after rebooting. If it's a bad capacitor the same is true but for a different reason. The bad capacitor will work until it gets too hot then you're out of luck again. It could be the LCD or the video card.

Dell d600 freezes intermittantly

sounds like the hard disk drive is slow to spin up. Sometimes older drives don't get all the way up to speed at boot, then with repeated restarts, the drive warms a bit and the spindle friction drops allowing full speed on the drive.
Try running HDD Diags the 1st boot of the day Fn +power button, see if you get any diag failure. Generally, a drive has to be within 3% of rated drive RPM (5400 or 7200) to function

Compaq e500 boot up problem

If it were my laptop here is what I would do: 1. Install a new hard drive. 2. Install the operating system. 3. After an anti-virus program was installed and updated, I would connect the old hard drive to the laptop using one of those external USB hard drive adapter cables. 4. If the old drive proves to be readable, copy documents/photos/bookmarks to the new hard drive. Hope this helps.
