Mx 100 subwoofer repair

There is crackling noise every 2 minutes from my Hinari MX100 Microwave Oven, sometimes from the door press-switches. Is that normal? Or is it a harmful defect?

SOURCE: the door sticks on my microwave oven

Usually this is due to loosened mounts inside the oven. The mounts hold the door switches and grab the door hooks when it the door is closed. The solution is to realign and tighten the mount screws inside. It's less liekly, but it could be a weak or worn door open lever inside. I only advise people to work on a microwave if they're fully informed and aware of the deadly hazards and necessary precautions.

SOURCE: Sharp microwave oven model r-1440 runs, but doesn't heat food

Assuming your inside light and turntable come on when you try to microwave, with the symptoms you have, I would most strongly suspect a bad magnetron or a loose and possibly corroded connection on the magnetron's terminal.

If you or someone you know decide to look into it, we have critical safety information and disassembly information at our site, and our link is at our listing here on FixYa.

At our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

Here are some links you or someone you know can use for test help, but read their safety warnings first:

(if it's not shorted or burned, it'sprobably okay)

The best place to order parts for this brand is Encompass (formerly Tritronics).

Or you can call them toll-free at 866-779-5835.

SOURCE: Frigidaire FMV155DC - defective door interlock switch

I had the problem where the timer continues to count down but turntable doesn't turn, fan doesn't come on and food doesn't heat. Holding the door up worked for awhile but even that temporary method stopped working.

I bought a door interlock switch the cost $23 from an appliance repair place and replaced it myself. It worked like a charm. To replace the switch, you need to remove 3 screws that hold the plastic grille above the door, which exposes the 1 screw that is holding the control panel. Remove that screw and slide the control panel up to remove it. There are three switches left of the panel. Note the middle swich has a different part number so I'm not sure what that one is called. The bad one on mine happen to be the bottom one. The switch is held on by a "pin" and tab that holds it in place. Push the tab and spin the switch on its "pin" past the tab to remove. Reverse your step to put the new one on. I hope this helps.

SOURCE: IS MY MICROWAVE NOW UNSAFE TO USE - CAN I DO OWN HOME REPAIR?

It sounds like what you are describing is called a "waveguide cover". You can purchase a replacement from a local parts supplier, or on-line at www.repairclinic.com. It is very easy to replace.

SOURCE: GE Microwave/Convection Oven - Door Glass Just Exploded!!!

This happened to us 3 weeks ago with our 3 year old Kitchenaid microwave. Several hours after its last use it just shattered. In doing research I discovered that this has also happend with GE microwaves, all 3 years old. The cause seems to have been a batch of defective glass supplied by a third party. Whirlpool was very quick to cover the cost of the replacement, even though our microwave was out of warrantee.

Panasonic microwave model NN-H275: Oven door doesn't open; Makes crackling or arcing sound when turned on;

If you do not see actual arcing in the cavity making the noise it is probably components on the inverter. Too exppensive to repair. Get a new one. Dont like or trust the inverters.

Why does NN-SN651x Microwave sometimes starts, sometimes not ?

Adj door latch switch assembly. It is not aligned properly preventing the door hooks to engage.

We've had the Cuisinart microwave for a little over a year. We've noticed lately that when the oven is not in use, there is a crackling sound, much like the noise a laptop makes when

The crackling (which sounded a little like a geiger counter) which I could hear when the oven was NOT running was coming from the speaker (where the beeps come from). I unplugged the oven, found the little speaker on the circuit board, yanked one of the wires off of it, and the crackling was be gone.

Hello,

Are you sure the number you have given is the model #? It looks more like a serial number. Most of the Hinari model numbers start with letters (eg. MX or EMX)

I found a website in the UK that sells parts for Hinari Microwaves ... > http://www.espares.co.uk/search/microwaves/hinari/p/1095/1032

Hopefully that helps...

Timer changing but microwave is not turning on?

Hello :

It's a bad door switch or loose door switch mount . There are plastic mounts inside the microwave which hold the door switches and onto which the door latches lock when you close the door.

The screws on these mounts may be loose. If they get too loose, the switches will not be activated properly .

WARNING : A microwave oven is capable of giving you a serious electrical shock, even when it is unplugged. I strongly recommend you seek the assistance of an appliance repair technician when conducting any microwave oven repair .

good luck .

Whirlpool OTR microwave no oven 'fan'

FIRST ,,MICROWAVE OVENS ARE REALLY SAFTY MINDED AND THATS A GOOD THING....THERE ARE USUALLY THREE DOOR SWITHCES NEXT THE KEYBOARD--THE ONE ON TOP AND THE ONE ON BOTTOM ARE PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SWITCHES,,YOUR PROBLEM SOUNDS LIKE ONE OF THESE IS NOT MAKING CONNECTION..YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO PRESS 'DOWN" WITH A LITTLE PRESSURE ON THE DOOR AFTER CLOSING TO SEE IF THE FAN WILL START,,,IF YOU NOTICE --THERE ARE 2 LATCHES(HOOKS) COMING OUT OF THE DOOR,,WHEN THE DOOR IS CLOSED,THOSE LATCHES ARE SPRING LOADED AND MAKE CONTACT ON THOSE SAFTY SWITCHES....THIS IS NOT A CUSTOMER REPAIR--MICRO'S ARE JUST TO DANGEROUS WHEN YOU TAKE THE COVER OFF--IF THIS DOES BRING THE FAN BACK ON--YOU GOT A BAD DOOR SWITCH AND SHOULD BE A REASONABLE REPAIR
THE OTHER SOLUTION STILL WOULD BE A CONNECTION PROBLEM ON THE KEYBOARD ITSELF-THE WIRES JUST PLUG ON THE CIRCUIT BOARD BEHIND THE KEYBOARD---STILL A EASY REPAIR--GOOD LUCK TUNICA

Microwave wont start

It sounds like a door switch going bad, or a bad connection on your control board. If you or a friend decide to work on it, we have *critical* safety, disassembly, and troubleshooting info (as well as a text file which helps in diagnosing and repairing door switch problems) at our site, which is linked at our listing here on FixYa: http://tinyurl.com/yzjozk If it's a problem with the control panel assembly, we repair those nationwide for $39.95.
