Weak coffee HI, I have recently bought a jura impressa x90, a used one. It was displaying "malfunction 8" when I bought it. I have rectified that problem, as the brewer unit O ring was dislodged and was preventing it moving up and down. It now works fine, however the coffee seems to be a little weak. I have run several cleaning cycles and adjusted the grind. The grinds are sometimes a little dry when discharged into the tray. Any ideas? Thanks. Neil

its a grinder group fault , the seal on the internal group head (the part that compresses the ground before brewing) has stuck or gone dry from lack of use. if u gain access to the internal of the machine( may need a special tool, oval head srews) grease with food grade lube, the red/orange seal on the long 45 degree cylinder inside. u can manually turn the gear by hand once inside. If still a problem check the motor that drives the same unit.

Hi, if you havn't already solved this one, it has been caused by pulling the drip tray/ dump box out while the brew unit was still active. Switch off the machine and insert the drip tray without the dump box. Turn the machine back on and the brew unit should re align itself.
