Problem with Demo mode turning off Kenwood KDC-WF431

its in the menu setting under demo on /off put to off.

You should rewire it, if i remember correctly yellow wire should be connected to constant + (or directly to battery +) so the radio doesn't lose any settings when you turn it off

Follow the instructions on page 12 of the manual.

Press the [MENU] button for at least one second. Push the control knob toward [AM] or [FM] to select "DEMO." Press the control knob for two seconds to alternate between "DEMO ON" and "DEMO OFF."

put the radio in standby mode by pressing the source button, hold the menu button, and then scroll thought the options untill you find Demo, then press volume but to turn off.

To turn off the Demo mode you need to:

Press source button, then select stand by mode.

Using the FM/AM button select Demo display

To set the demo mode hold the source button for 2 seconds
it will switch from on and off.

use source boton to put the radio on standby, press and hold setup boton, and you will see a hide menu. and find demo mode and turn it off.

go into the menu. you should be able to scroll through the menu and turn demo off.

you have to be in standby mode, thats the key, i had the same problem, just go to "demo on" and change it to "demo off"
