Question about Visioneer OneTouch 5800 Flatbed Scanner

Software needed I have a 5800 Visoneer scanner and am not hooked up to internet at home and cannot download at work. How can I get the software to run this. Use to have it but got lost when some software was removed.

i have 2 put a new motherboard & i lost the disk of my scanner & i need the software i like to download it 2 a disk just in case the same thing happen again... some one HELP ME !!!

I recently purchased a Visonneer 5800 (open box) One Touch scanner (USB), however it did not come with software? How can I obtain or download software please?

If you dont have software that is ok but have you cheked it is showing in your device manager. if it in your device manager lsist so you canuse your scanner in other software like imaging and in photshop and in word also just choose the twin or accuire image . bye

How do you unlock a visoneer scanner 5800 I got back from a trip and tried to scan something and the bar is locked now and won't move more than an inch. The error message says to unlock it but I can't find...

Ensure you are using the power supply that was provided with the scanner.

The power through the strip may be fluctuating and causing the problem.

Download and install the driver provided on the 5800 USB support website.

5800 Visoneer Scanner: Getting message that I need to unlock it...

Power supply has to put out 1.25A. If it is either too weak due to age, not directly connected to the wall where it can get the power it needs or the wrong replacement, it won't work and you'll get this error.
Also, the voltage is 12V (positive tip).

This appears to be two questions. "I have no disc" is solved by downloading the drivers from the Visioneer site.
I do not understand the second part...???

Is the lamp on? Try uninstalling the software and re install If the lamp remains out check your connections. Try the Visoneer Web site Tech support But I feer is the lamp is out , may mean a new scanner Often the price of lamps and labor preclude repair.

Need Vista driver for either a Mustek TA1200 or Visioneer 5800 I have two nearly new (but outdated) scanners that I would like to be able to use one of with my Windows Vista machine. The Mustek is a BearPaw 5800 USB. The Visioneer is a One Touch 1200TA. I have software for both for Windows 98/2000/ME and I see on the web that drivers are available for XP for both. But I need a Vista driver. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch.

Xerox Visioneer 2400 scanner Driver ok but scanner does not work or 'light' up,has been used recently with no problem. Vista home used. Have unpluged the power cable and the USB and reconnected both, Windows does not show new hardware found. Please help, or has the scanner failed due to age? [email protected]
