If its an LCD TV as stated (42LC2D), you do not adjust Va/Vs etc. this is only done on Plasma TV's especially after replacing either the power supply or the screen itself.

Connecting Kenwood vr-405 to ps4

o connect a Kenwood VR-405 to a PS4, you will need to use the audio and video outputs on the PS4 and the audio and video inputs on the Kenwood VR-405. Here are the general steps to follow:
  1. Connect the HDMI cable from the PS4 HDMI Out port to the HDMI In port on the Kenwood VR-405.
  2. Connect the audio cable from the PS4 Digital Out (optical) port to the Optical In port on the Kenwood VR-405.
  3. Turn on the Kenwood VR-405 and set the input to HDMI or Optical, depending on which cable you used.
  4. Turn on the PS4 and adjust the audio settings on the PS4 to output audio through the HDMI or Optical connection.
  5. Adjust the audio settings on the Kenwood VR-405 to match the audio settings on the PS4.
It is important to consult the user manual of both the Kenwood VR-405 and the PS4 for specific instructions on how to connect them and adjust the settings. If the VR-405 doesn't have a HDMI input, you can use an HDMI to composite adapter to connect the PS4 and the VR-405.

How to Calibrate your plasma panel for less heat dissipation

First you need to take the back off the tv....i know...lol..lots of screws.
try to pile all screws by size.
Now that you have the back off, in the power supply of the unit find
the Vs and Va voltage lines...connect a voltmeter to the Vs line.
on the panel there's a sticker with the factory voltage settings...try to bring
the Vs 10 volts less than what the factory adjusted it to. do the same for the Va voltage line.
The reason for that is that it will deliver less heat on the panel, and it'll
extend the life of your plasma tv.
Thats because what brakes them down is heat.

I have Hitachi 55hds69 plasma tv that is getting green and red sparkles on the screen. is there adjustment that can be make to correct this?

There should be a label on the inside of the cabinet saying what the voltages to the VS and VA should be along with any other voltages that are adjustable, have you set the various voltages to the correct specs

How do I decrease the vs voltage on my Vizio tv

I take it you have a plasma? There are pots on the power supply board for adjusting VS and VA. Are you wanting to adjust the voltage due to red snow problems???

To make a long story short originally bought the LG du-42px12x with a bad ysus board(no picture just sound) replaced the ysus now the picture and sound work great but there are colorful dots all over the...

Sounds like the y sus was blown out but what cause it. Were you careful when you were checking voltages? As long as you didn't short 2 components together, your y sus should be fine. Unless the y buffer up and/or down blew them out. Even the panel could blow it.

Basically you need a scope to adjust the ramps and everything. You can adjust VA and VS with a meter. If you don't have access to a scope, then just start changing the ramps etc by eye. It might take a little bit to get but eventually you'll get it.

Red dots on black backgroungs

Either needs new "Y/Z SUS" kit or panel. Sometime adjusting the Vs and Va voltages on the power supply will do the trick. Up or down only 5 volts

My TV has little green dots all over the picture.

You have the problem called "diffusion" errors, or some call it non-erasing pixels, etc.. You may be able to adjust the voltages to fix the issue. The 2 main voltages are VS and VA. The value they should be is listed on the back of the plasma panel. If one is off, then it could be the cause. Some manufacturers recommend turning up or down vs or va by 10% to fix this type of issue. Unfortunately, it can also be caused by many board in the tv.. power supply (where vs and va are generated) plus also the y and z drive boards, buffer boards, etc. If they are across the whole screen, suspect the power board and Y board most likely. I can talk you through all the adjustments but you will need a dc voltmeter capable of handling 250v. Let me know your skill level and we can fix this together.

Red Spots on 42" LG plasma t.v.

The dancing spots can be sorted by you taking the back panel off and adjusting the va and vs adjusting nobs , you will need a multimeter so you you can adjust the voltage to the right settings that are on a sticker on the back of the panel. You must remember to connect the black pointer to the earthed wire to get and the red to the live wire that has va or vs at the end of it. The right voltage measurements will be be found on a sticker at the back of the panel.
I advise you not to touch the setup and setdn nobs as these are factory settings and should not be touched.
If the va and vs do not sought the problem then try the vy and vsc adjusting nobs but only touch those if the va and vs does not fix your problem first.
Once you have done everything right your tv should be better then before with clearer pictures.
I hope this helps and be careful not to get zapped.
