What do symbols on top mean?

Welcome to Fixya

Half circle symbol means printer is in ready state. The printer control panel is comprised of six lights and two buttons. The lights produce patterns that identify the printer status.

1 Jam light: Indicates that there is a jam in the printer.
2 Toner light: When the print cartridge is low, the Toner light illuminates. When the print cartridge is out of the printer,
the Toner light blinks.
3 Paper out light: Indicates that the printer is out of paper.

1332 infoprint printer not supporting 1332 toner cartridge

If the toner in the machine is NOT MIRC it will not work in a MIRC printer. Get the correct toner cartridge or get a NON MICR printer to put your toner in. MICR uses a special toner (magnetic) for printing checks and the printer is usually modified at the factory (troy or others) to make it print using MICR toner. No way around it.

Flashing amber warning light

Hello,

The problem is that the MICR Toner Wire was placed into the wrong jumper position on the TROY Font Card. By moving it to the other jumper, this should clear your 'Invalid Toner Sense State' Error. If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact me at 800-633-2266 x 218 or vial email to [email protected].
