I habve recently been given this excellent 20+ years old TV, but without a remote control. I wish to tune it to the terrestial stations. This has to be done manually, by pushing various buttons on the TV itself. Can anybody tell me the procedure.
I can get good reception using Virgin Media and scart sockets, but this does not give me all the functions that I need.
I can get so far in tuning manually, but am unable to "capture" the tuning.
Older tuners have upper channel limits ( 37,42,47,64,etc.) No
matter how you try,it will not memorize above it's limit. So,
1) Buy an RF adapter that takes in two inputs, one out to TV.
2) If your set has A / V inputs, use them with an external tuning
source (cable box,VCR,etc.)
