Remove the screws and check out the fan's working state.
EP759 have one big 92mm fan for the lamp, and three small, near 40mm, fan's for the optics.

Power of the bulb is very high, so just 1 broken fan can make that situation.

Optoma PK301 lost a color

it is not correlated with bulb
1,the color starts to go out, it become the white and black, the color is disappear.
2,then,the projector running off after only a few minutes,
it is a general issue:the inductor need to be cleaned
Use a cotton swab moistened with alcohol to clean the inductor.
the inductor (Sensing element),is near to the Color Wheel.
the industor : is a black little element,as little as 3 sesame seeds

Optoma EP719 projector broken circular glass disk

The piece that's cracked is called a color wheel. I spoke with the parts department at optoma and they want $300 for a new color wheel for my ep 732h projector. I'm not sure if it's the same part but you can contact optoma on their website and they'll get back to you with a price quote for that part.

Light does not come on -- we replaced the bulb--still dark

Sounds like the lamp timer has reached it's limit. In your users manual you will find the proceedure on replacing the lamp and reseting the timer. Once this is done the projector should work.

Cooling fan problem projector

I have a similar issue though mine isn't quite as extreme as yours. Got a couple things you can do.

1. clean out the projector with compressed air. You might have dust building up on components that is trapping heat.

2. Your fan might be burning out. Needs to be replaced. I'm still working on trying to figure out what tipe of fan it needs.

3. The temperature sensor might be going bad. This one is less likely and most complex to solve as it depends on how the system measures the temp. I haven't checked in detail yet.

4. Replace the whole unit or send it in for repair. Both options will be costly...

Optoma EP 738

You can test the power source if you are getting any power input from the power cord itself. Plug in your power cord and use an eletronic meter on the other end to see if you are getting the proper voltage (110/120) reading. If not, then the power cable is bad in itself. IF you are getting power from your cord, it could also be a fuse inside the Optoma and/or where the power plug on the Optoma meets the actual power source is out of alignment or may also be not making the proper contact to the main circuit board on the Optoma. Hope it helps....JGUAM

Optoma ep 753 will not light

you can just open the lamp and see the condition of the inner tube only. otherwise you have to replace the lamp and run it.
