Definitely call the Federal Trade Commission (202) 326-2222, and tell them what happened, that must have felt horrible! But the FTC will most likely look into that. There is also a complaint form to file on their website, at the very bottom.
They will also give you a 1-800 # to call, to get your # removed; this # will apply to most unwanted calls! I call it every couple of years, it works great!
