If you want to replace the steam wand of your Krups xp5220 coffe-maker, please follow the steps below.

1. Remove the nozzle. In order to remove the nozzle you have to pull the slip ring down and pull straight off. It will requires a bit of force.

2. Please be careful, if you pry one of the 3 tabs which are in a vulnerable position they will break and then the steam wand may not stay on under pressure.

--> Once you understand how to properly remove and install the nozzle, it's not a problem.

Note: the steam wand is extremely fragile, please look at it's sideways and it may break.
