My camera will not stay on. When I turn on the power, a green light comes on then goes out a few seconds later. Initially the lens was stuck in the out position. After turning it on and letting it go off several times, the lens went back in on its own. I have tried installing a new battery but it hasn't worked.

Hi, I had exact the same problem with mine Samsung L730. I opened it and took the 2 flatcables from the circuit board (to the lens-unit) out of there connectors. After I put them back in again, the camera worked. I geuss it was a bad electric connection of the lens-unit. Maybe this will solve your problem. If the camera is older than 1 year and has no warrenty, just try this. Good luck.
