Have you formatted memory card in phone before you started storing data on it? By formatting the memory card it will set up folders which the phone will look at to determine different types of data, i.e. photo folder holds photos, video folder holds mp4 &3gp, and music folder holds mp3 etc.
Then when your memory card is connected to your pc drag and drop data into correct folders and then phone should be able to recognise the different types of data. Hope that helps?
Only other thing I can think is that your memory card is too large to be recognised by your phone? It will only support upto and including 2gb Micro SD cards.

How can i put music on my motorola zn 5 with a usb cord?

Hi
You have different options to use to put music on your phone. You could download songs from the internet directly to your phone or you could collect songs on your phone from another phone, laptop or system.Through a phone all you need to do is to put on your bluetooth and transfer, but through the system or laptop you could use the bluetooth too or you could use a usb cable to transfer songs.

I transfered photos from my phone to the memory and they are gone

They may not be in the right folder. Put your memory card in your computer and find it on my computer. there should be a file for music and one for photos. Put them in the photo file and try again. They are on your card, you just have trouble finding them.

How do i transfer stuff from blackberry curve into the memory card

Open your media manager. Push menu button and select "explore".

Navigate through your device memory until you find the file you want to transfer. Highlight the file, push the menu button and select "move".

Navigate back up the file tree by selecting "up" until you see the memory card folder. Select the memory card folder, and choose the option to "put file here".

Keep in mind, you can not load programs from your memory card. You can only put files there (music, documents, ebooks, etc).

Unsupported file format

You phone will only support certain file formats.
Go to Samsung and get the manual Click Here
The owners manual will tell you what music files, video files, picture files are supported by the software.
Then you may have to convert your files to work in your phone.
Let me know if this helped by rating the post...Thanks

Have a new sony ericsson w350 cell phone, would like to download Media Manager to transfer music from computer to phone.

go to sony ericsson site and download media mgr
BUT your phone needs a memory card. I transferred one song and I cannot get it to work again even with memory card. My daughter said to put card into a adapter which I have and use a card reader or something like that you buy at radio shack. So you transfer music to the memory card via the cable and reader thingy, then put the card back into the phone. Simple? heck no. The phone propaganda makes it sound like you hook the phone to your computer with its USB, downl media mgr and just drag and drop. Let me know if this fantasy comes true for any of you!

Unsupported file format

The problem here could be that the images are too big or it isnt one of the file types associated for D900 (wav files are usually not supported), and hence they are being moved to other files. And the same reason goes for not being able to open them.
