If your using Windows 7
Click on start, right click on computer and click properties.

Open control panel, click system, hardware, device manager. (this is for XP ) Open up processors there you go. You can right click and go down to properties for more information. Good Luck

To use hardware-enforced DEP, you must meet all the following conditions:

1. The computer's processor must support hardware-enforced DEP.
   
   Many recent processors support hardware-enforced DEP. Both Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Intel Corporation have defined and shipped Windows-compatible architectures that are compatible with DEP. This processor support may be known as NX (no-execute) or XD (execute disable) technology. To determine whether your computer's processor supports hardware-enforced DEP, contact the manufacturer of your computer.
2. Hardware-enforced DEP must be enabled in the BIOS.
   
   On some computers, you can disable processor support for hardware-enforced DEP in the BIOS. You must not disable this support. Depending on your computer manufacturer, the option to disable this support may be labeled "Data Execution Prevention," "XD," "Execute Disable," or "NX."
3. The computer must have Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1 installed.
   
   Note Both 32-bit versions and 64-bit versions of Windows support hardware-enforced DEP. Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 and Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 include all the features and components of Windows XP SP2.
4. Hardware-enforced DEP must be enabled for programs on the computer.
   
   In 64-bit versions of Windows, hardware-enforced DEP is always enabled for 64-bit native programs. However, depending on your configuration, hardware-enforced DEP may be disabled for 32-bit programs.

try to update your driver on the windows menu. first right click the my computer icon, then choose properties, then choose Hardware menu after that your installed driver will show up, then double click your sound driver and update via internet connection

You may try to change the spool data format:

1. Click on "Start," "Control Panel," "Printers and Other Hardware" and "Printers and Faxes."

("Start," "Control Panel," "Hardware and Sound" and "Printers" for Vista...)

2. Then, right click on the Lexmark printer icon and left click "Properties."

3. Either on the "Advanced" tab or the "General" tab for some models, there is a "Print Processor" button, left click it.

4. This is the spool format setting. Under "Print processor" it should be set to "Lexmark *** series print processor." Next, under "Default datatype," select "NT EMF 1.008."

5. Click "OK" and exit back out to your desktop.

6. Try printing again.

hi im josh in cebu phils.may i help you? friend if the processor and maiboard shuts off. it means there is a problem in hardware especially athlon the problem is the heat of the processor. try to check if the processor fan is still working. then see the temperature rating of the processor in the bios utility is normal if not it will cause. 40'above. try to check the power supply if it supports enough to the mainboard. thats all good luck.hope i helped you.

go to start-> control panel ->system->hardware->device manager, then if there are any errors there will be a yellow question mark

for more information go to hardware tab,then device manager,window is opened which shows components attachd to your pc
