Turn off the heater then open the bleeder valve on top of the tank to let the air escape. Once all of the air has been bled off, faucets included then turn your heat back on.
you have two choices one check and see if your heater core is working properly , next check to see if you termostat is opening and closing you do all of this by checking the top return hose on your raditor.
o my friend i hawe a same problem in macedonia it hawe a mystake in elektronk part in airconditioner...and maybe is dthe outside part of split termik is not ok maybe ...
You Might want to Check your Heater Control Valve,Its located under your Hood between 1 Heater Hose and your Water Pump. Its Vacum Operated and could be manual as well.Have someone turn your heat on and Off while you watch under the Hood at the Heater Control Valve to See if you see it Move.Or could have a Leak.More than Likely its Frozen Closed not allowing the Hot Water to Run Through Your Heater ore ,Which Results in No HOT AIR blowing inside. Try This 1st.
do you change the sensor that come with the termostat? do you have a automatic control may be a temp sensor is bad ? last the pool take one degree per hour to heat are u give enough time?
I sounds like the thermostat you have is heating only. You need to buy and install a heating/cooling thermostat. The new thermostat will have a sheet with wiring diagrams to choose from.
Did youever find out what was wrong with this? I have a 10yr old Payne unit that is doing the same and after $800 this is still not fixed. We've replaced almost everything. Thx!
A) check hoses are not blocked or crimped ad you have restricted flow
B )your heater radiatior is blocked, no flow
C) your termostat of the engine is not working or is not instaled at all
one rad hose goes to the water pump the other goes to the thermostat on top of the motor. undo the hose clamp and take off the hose that goes to the thermo . DO THIS WHEN THE VEHICLE IS COLD. have a small container handy to catch any coolant that may leak out. be sure to keep the hose up so coolant doesnt leak all over the ground.Once you take off the hose the thermostat should be right there. 2 bolts to take it out. fairly simple actually. replace with the new one and put hose back on. replace any coolant that might have leaked into your container. Hope this helps you Crystal. let me know. Thanks, Mark.
