Samsung dlp 5065w keeps blowing fuse

samsung motherboards are bad for going out. they are 125 dollars online, if you have the technical skills to replace them.. basically just plug and play, with LOTS of screws to take off.

How many amps is the fuse that is located on the back of the TV near the power cord. It says T5AL/125 or 250 v. f800

Something else is going on to cause the fuse to keep blowing. Sounds like you have an issue on your power supply in the unit. Also check the outlet that your plugging it in to. Good luck!

125 v 4 amp fuse keeps blowing

if you plugged a 125 volt tv in to a 220 volt outlet you more than likely fried alof of the componets in the tv. Putting a bigger fuse in there is only going to increase the risk of it catching on fire so i would not recomend that. you might replace the power supply and cross your fingers and hope that nothing else cooked when the 220 volts hit it

Replaced fuses & they keep blowing

there could be a shortage in any of the dc line that cause the fuse to blow up again, either overloading or chortage will cause this, try to see for any sign of other componenet failure, wires that has been bended and cripped, transistor that has been twisted or alike

cheers

Keeps Blowing The 5 Amp Fuses

There is a short in either or both the main power supply or one of the scan amplifier sections and or the high voltage section.

You will not bel able to service this yourself. This type of repair can be fairly involved and complicated to troubleshoot.

An expericed TV tech should be able to service this for you.
