If your Sharp LC-45D4CU television is not producing sound when you connect an external speaker or sound bar to the audio out jack, there are a few potential causes and steps you can try to fix the issue:
Check the audio out jack: Make sure the audio out jack is clean and not damaged, and that the connection to the external speaker or sound bar is secure.
Check the audio settings: Make sure the TV's audio settings are set to output sound through the audio out jack. You can check the settings in the TV's menu or user manual.
Check the external speaker or sound bar: Make sure the external speaker or sound bar is turned on and set to the correct input. Also, check the speaker or sound bar's connections and make sure they are secure.
Check the cables: Make sure the cables connecting the TV to the external speaker or sound bar are not damaged and are securely connected.
If these steps do not fix the issue, there may be a problem with the TV's audio out jack or the external speaker or sound bar. In this case, it is recommended to contact Sharp customer support or a TV repair technician for further assistance.

Try to use external speaker. connect it where you usually connect your head and check if it work . If ever the external speaker will work it only means that the problem is your headset ( defective )If in case the external speaker will not work it means the problem is the terminal ( the port where the headset or external speaker connection )
First, check if you put the connector for external speakers all the way to the end. Sometimes when the connector isn't fully inside both internal and external speakers will work. After you do that, once you connect the external speakers, go to the sound settings in windows and look for the volume mixer. You can regulate the sound for each type of speaker there.
Most of the TV's do not have a speaker output and so you will need to open the set and take the speaker connect to be meshed along with a impedance matching.
You can connect with a switch wherein the TV speakers can be switched OFF and the external speaker connected . If not the external speaker if connected in parallel must not bring down the impedance to a lower level not supported by the output IC.
The other option is to use the output AV to connect to an amplifier and speaker. ( Your Audio system)
check whether motherboard has inbuilt speaker or speaker connected externally. Externally means check the proper connection is given for the speaker. If speaker is connected externally in proper manner still no beep means problem is in the external spaeker
Go to control panel / sounds / audio, and see if the boxes have greyed out writing, if so then the driver needs reloading, if they are all good check all settings.
Meant to ask if volume control icon is showing in the right lower task bar.
