Hopefully you can recover them by connecting by USB to a pc or laptop, and locating them in the file folders of the phone that way. If you have them on microsds or any removable memory card etc. just remove memory card and insert into another phone or pc/laptop media center station. And if your phone was synced with your email, perhaps you could ofcourse visit your email, click contacts, (particularly in google), and there they are. Let me know if this works Andrie.. thanks
Dr.Fone for iPhone 5 is designed to recover contacts, messages, notes, safari bookmarks and more from your iPhone 5 directly even without backup. Besides, if you have backed up iPhone 5 with iTunes before data loss, it will also help you extract the lost from iTunes backup file of your iPhone 5.
Palm handheld has storage where the appointments and address are saved. I think that only the software or firmware has the problem, but the storage should remain intact. You need to immediately contact your wireless provider to see if they could refer you into an authorized repair center that will help you to recover the files. The tech support for Palm should also has an idea where to send it.
