You should set the TV, with its setup code. Setup codes to Sinotec are, 0036,0037,0031. There will be more by depending on the universal remote controls. Check out which brand remote control have more setup codes than stated above, and buy that one according to availability. Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter. It should have setup codes to Sinotec Brand TVs in its code list.
