Question about Lexmark Wheelwriter 3500 Typewriter
The font and size are determined by the print wheel. If you want a different font or size, you must change print wheels. It is very easy to do.... Open the top cover and pull back gently on the print hammer (sometimes has orange arrows) The print wheel is directl;y in front of the hammer and gently pull it straight up. When replacing the print wheel just remember to pull the hammer back slightly so the wheel can clear.

To change the font you must change the printwheel. Remove the ribbon and L/O tape, Pull the lever just to the right of the print solenoid. Remove the printwheel by pulling on the knob in the center. To change the pitch move the slide sitch on the L. side to the setting you want. DickyO

The WW3 will type whatever printwheel is in the machine. If you want something different you will have to buy another printwheel. It says on the printwheel whether it is a 10 pitch or a 12 pitch.
