I have a Samsung Security DVR System. It's a 22'' LCD Monitor with a built in 8CH DVR which is used for a small business. The power went out and now that the power is back on, I get no-signal on screen and 6 beeps. beep-beep-beep (quickly) and then beep-beep.....beep. I'm not sure what this means. I've unplugged it, waited, plugged it back in, nothing seems to get this thing to actually work or stop beeping. Any ideas?

You have to hook it up to a tv monitor and change the settings through the menu. It will originally include a password just to get you on, then you will immediately have to change it. After you do that you can access the menu where you can change the output settings

Will it show any lights on the front display at all? If there are no front light, then there may be a power problem, try plugging the unit into another socket and if the red light inside the unit returns and wont display anything else the I suspect that it may be a burnt out power pack, which will need to be replaced by a service technician due to the high voltages with power sources.

shut it down and restart and see if it takes the charger ..usually there is nothing that makes the camera behave that way but the charger ..either being damaged or the plug does not makes contact well ..check the wire not to be damaged and try another charger with the same specs ..exactly the same ..It is possible to be damaged if you let it in the plug for a long time ..
If it shows out that the charger is not to blame ..than it is a mater of plug need to be changed cause is damaged ..In worse case just open it and hot wire if you can not get a plug to match ..

yea no osd menu, it was the same for me, but after a couple test, i found thats because it does not detect de vga cord correctly, duno why only with this model, if you use kvm or a dvi to vga cord, happens , i connected a old vga lcd screen and wala! , maybe after a firmaware update may fix the problem :)
