Mitsubishi VS-50607 Won't Turn On

I have a Mitsubishi VS-50607 Serial # 101570 and the green light turns on for three seconds I hear a click then the light goes out. Any thoughts on what might be wrong?

I'm having the same problem. I did the self-diagnosis and the results were 2-4 blinks. Now my question is what do i do to fix it or better yet what part i need. Thank you

I'm also having the same problem. The green light flashes, has no picture or sound, then clicks and shuts off. Same Model Mitsubishi VS 50607.

This model is equipped with a self-diagnosis feature to help with diagnosis of shutdown problems. To activate this turn the unit on let it shutdown then press the input/device and menu buttons on the front panel simultaneously and hold them in for 5 seconds after 5 seconds the power LED on the front panel will blink a two digit sequence. This will be one set of blinks a short pause then another set of blinks, this will repeat 5 times. 1 - 2 = no error detected 2 - 1 = X-ray protect (high voltage or beam current) 2 - 2 = Short protect (short protect monitors low voltage supplies) 2 - 3 = Deflection protect (this could be loss of vertical or horizontal deflection) 2 - 4 = Vertical protect (usually loss of vertical from the source.

Mitsubishi vs50705 turn power on green button comes on then it shuts off quickly

TRY the self check here, this model may have it.

When green light comes on and goes off, on front of set press and hold both the menu and input buttons for at least five seconds and release both buttons.

Watch the power light, if it has the self check feature it will blink a two digit error code.

The most common is two blinks, two blinks, a pause and then repeat several times.

Let me know if find a error code.

Mitsubishi Projection TV Model #VS-50603 will not turn on.

The TV is going into a "protect mode", the micro-processor has sensed a circuitry problem and has shut the set down so that no furhter damage can happen, you will need to have the TV serviced by a Mitsubishi tech. Good luck !

Mitsubishi VS 50607 Problems

Vertical output IC most likely needs to be re-solderd. However this model is famous for the CRT leaking coolant in the area of the Vertical output IC and corroding the solder. Check for a sticky residule near the Vertical IC indicating a leaky CRT seal.
