This has nothing to do with the wind. Our house was recently built. The duct for the Broan fan system beats fairly constantly whether it's windy or not. It's continuous and regular. Yes, before reading this page, I found the source of the noise. Yes, it's the exterior flap. I've noticed that it seems to be caused by a difference in the interior air pressure. In the winter, windows and doors are closed and the thumping seems to be more constant. If I open the back door in the kitchen, however, the noise stops. Sometimes, on the other hand, it stops by itself. I actually called Broan customer service and I'm a bit unclear, but it sounded as if others may have complained about this. For what it's worth, the representative recommended weather stripping around the vent.

Its probaly the duct. There is a little hinged door which is in the ducking right where the fan connects to your duct's, somtimes they play in the wind. I have heard this problem before. Is the clicking perfectly sycronized?

Why is my samsung clp making a clicking noise?

Is the printer making a clicking sound when it is printing? Or is it just making a clicking sound but there are no light and the printer appears to be dead except making a clicking sound?

I know of a cause for either case.

Case 1. It is clicking when printing. Sometimes the toner cartridges are not seated properly in the imaging unit, and causes the gear on the cartridge to slip making a clicking sound as the gear is being turned. Try pulling out the cartridges and try turning the gear. It should turn smoothly without binding. If it binds, there is not much you can do about it except replace it when it goes empty. Reinsert the cartridge and check that it inserted completely into the imaging unit.

Case 2. Printer is dead, not printing except making a clicking sound. This is due to the power supply board failure. Usually the failure is due to a blown filter capacitor on the power supply board. The power supply is located on the right side of the printer. Remove the right side panel to get access to the board. The board can be either repaired or replaced. Hope this helps you.

I have a Dometic Duo-therm 1500 AC Model 59516.633C1 on my 5th wh

The clicking sound is usually the relays in the control unit making or releasing. When they click does anything turn on? Check the control unit that is located inside the lower unit of the air conditioner. Remove the cover and listen for the clicking sound. If it sounds as if the relays are clicking, try removing power from the thermostat and see if that stops it. There are three relays on the board, one is the compressor, one is the fan relay and the other is for heat. See if you can pinpoint which one is clicking and go from there. It is either that you have a bad thermostat or a bad relay board.

Rheem A/C unit makes a clicking sound when

Shut down the unit and turn the power off. Take the cover off of the blower housing and feel around within the squirrel cage. It sounds like something may have been drawn up into the blower. Also it is possible that the blower wheel might have thrown a balance weight and caused the wheel to become unbalanced. It could also be the motor about to go out but since I can't hear it myself, I'm trying to cover all the bases.

The clicking is the sound of a bad relay. A relay is an electrical switch that opens and closes under the control of another electrical circuit. There is no user solution for this. You'll have to take it to an electronics repair shop (~$150) or dump the whole unit.
