Yes...the video card could have gone out but most likely you have a connection that is loose or bad. I would check those first. If you have done so then I would try another video port and verify that it is the screen that is out and not just the port you are in.

Your mainboard is damaged and need to be replaced. in order to get a new one you will need a product code and model number, both located in the back of th TV next to serial number.

Unplug and replug it...it should work eventually.
I have the same problem with my 32".
But it eventually goes on when i try it a couple of times (the number of times is completely random...sometimes none, and sometimes like, 3).

Replace lower scan converter PCB, which plugged into Y-Sustainer Board, located to the left of the display if you poke back cover open. There are 2 of them, but in some models might be the one, long PCB.don't wait to fix it! otherwise, you will knock out Y-
Sustainer and upper scan converter. That will cause you to spend few hundreds to fix it.
