Green shadow i have a green shadow down oneside then goes purple changes sides any ideas

Hi is it earthed correctly, try a direct earth to battery.

if it's sharp edged and inline with the pixels, you have a bad green lcd panel. if it's fuzzy and random, you have a burnt light filter. either way, it's an optical engine issue. you can try to go into the case, remove the ribbon cable for the green lcd (unlock the ribbon clip first) and reinsert it and lock it down. if that doesn't work, you'll have to replace it.

Either a bad optical block or possibly a bad LVDS cable, you need a qualified tech to know for sure
