I just picked up a Treo 600 from Ebay to replace my cracked screen 600
The touch screen does not work , but if I go into preferences to touch screen, it will react to my stylus but will goes into a continual loop top left, lower right 'touch here'
I then have to reset
Am I out of luck or is this a software issue
I have tried a hard reset, no luck
My touch screen is not responding. I tried doin the hard reset. It will lead me to the screen where I tap the target with the stylus but it gets stuck there looping from upper left, lower right. I am having this same issue. I switched back to my 600 and it did it once before and I left it charge for a couple of hours and it seemed to fix itself, now its doing it again and I can not get the touchscreen to work. My treo 650 had a film in front of the screen. It got a big scratch, so I removed the film. Now the touch screen does not work.

I have the same problem and I think its about time I throw in the towel and get a new Blackberry. This phone is looking like it has planned obsolescence issues. Its time... Its Dead... I am on my 5th yup 5th replacement and I just received the phone 2 days ago and it still isnt working. So they are sending me another phone again!!! Anybody know of the fix for this???????I have the same problem and I think its about time I throw in the towel and get a new Blackberry. This phone is looking like it has planned obsolescence issues. Go to applications - preferences - touchscreen. Follow the instructions to calibrate your touchscreen. If it does not work, reset your phone by pressing the small button at the small hole at the back of the phone with a safety pin.
Its about $40 US on ebay. Try searching treo 750wx screen/digitizer/touch screen, etc. Also i tried searching treo 750wx but it didn't work, I suspect the 750 to be the same as the wx, but you might wanna make sure with the seller incase (Ask seller a question link is on the listing, or click their username and go to their profile and click on contact)
Try running a piece of paper around the edge of the screen. There may be was something
stuck in there, pressing the screen slightly and causing it
to not respond to the stylus.
The digitizer can sometimes be damaged over time. I would suggest removing the screws from the back of the device, and then reseating the screen ribbon cable.
You may have dust accumulation around the edges of your touchscreen, between the screen and the case.
Try using a can of compressed air. Gently press down on the edges of the touchscreen to expose the gap between the screen and the case, and shoot the air in there. This worked for me when my Treo 600 touchscreen stopped responding.
